About Me

Turnup Records is located at 257 North Water Street in Kent, Ohio (across from the grain tower and Brewhouse Pub).
We are open Monday through Saturday from 12pm till 7pm.
We carry a wide (and widening) selection of new and used LPs, CDs, 45s, DVDs, posters, books and zines, with a focus on independent, underground, local and awesome music.
We pay cash (or store credit) for records, CDs, etc. and we always have the art of local artists hanging on our walls.

My Interests

This is Boo the Cat. She used to live in Turnup Records, but she ran off a few months ago and we miss her, even though she usually just knocked things over and harassed customers. UPDATE! We're pretty sure she's living a couple blocks up the road in an accountant's office. There's a cat that sits in the window that sure looks like her. I spoke with a woman who works there and she said that the cat is only a year old and they got her when she was a kitten, but I think she was just worried that I'd try to take her back. There is no chance of me trying to do that.
