Conroe is an actor, singer, songwriter, and producer. Former member of "Special Generation," a five man R&B group, once on top of the billboard charts. He is currently working on his first solo album. It will be a mixture of smooth R&B, live acoustic & soul music with some amazing guest singers, poets, & rappers. He most recently just finished a very successful run of Little Shop of Horrors where he was the voice of Audrey II. His other stage credits include Body Language, Happy Days (Directed by Garry Marshall), Sideways - A Musical, & Tracers(which he also directed).
He landed his first part on TV playing the role of Sam Cooke in " The Little Richard Story ." He was also the lead in " 2G’s & a Key ," a Showtime urban action film. Most recently he appeared on " Heroes & The Unit ."
