My Interests

I spend far too much time on Myspace - I guess I'm addicted like everyone else. I've met some fabulous people with whom I hope I've become genuine friends. Perhaps one day I will be able to meet my cyber-friends in person. Other than that I work most days of the week, but leave enough time to keep fit on . . when I'm not falling off . . my mountain bike, and to swim endless laps. My grandchildren Olivia, Sebastian, Liam and Allegra. That's them in the cube opposite. I'm trying to master Photoshop, Freehand and HTML so I can give Comments to my friends a personal touch.

I'd like to meet:

Like many Australians, I trace my roots back to the early days of the penal settlement of New South Wales, and I'd like to meet my ancestors who were transported to 'The Fatal Shore' to hear their side of the story. One of my great-great-grandfathers was sentenced at Limerick Special Sessions on 4 April 1822 to 7 years transportation to New South Wales under the Insurrection Act. Another g-g-grandfather was sentenced ". . to be transported to the coast of New South Wales or some or other of the islands adjacent for and during the Term of his Natural Life . . ".
