About Me

What does Boston, no, better yet what does rap/hip-hop need in the year 2007? Just good music, period. With all these rappers and artists claiming to know what the game needs or what will bring rap back to its essence, there is one up and coming company that is avoiding all the hype and just sticking to what got rap/hip-hop to where it is now, Split Tha Water. What members Max Millz, Jay West, Young Dre, Ray Capo, Kin Jackson and D-Mac plan to do is make music, let it do what it does and avoid all the fads and trends on their way to the top. They aren't interested in what other clicks or labels are saying or what they're doing, so long as their music is flooding as many ears as possible. Along their way to the top, they are encountering the haters and doubters, but they aren't worried, because PEOPLE who've heard them believe that their music IS what the game's been missing, so others should take notes and stop talking about this and that that the rap game needs to restore it to its former glory and just do it.
