I'd like to meet:

Most often, I am a people person...who enjoys indepth conversations. There are quite a few music artist that I admire and would like the chance to learn more about them. like... Steven curtis chapman, Jeremy camp, Natalie Grant, Margret Becker, and crystle lewis. I would love to sit down with my most favorite authors that help build my foundation after I got saved. For example ... Billy Graham, James Dobson, Oswald Chambers,Phillip Yancy, Frank Peretti, and of course the Bible boys Paul, Mathew, mark, luke and John. Then in the political arrena... Henry Kissinger, George Bush, Martin Luther King.

I LOVE MUSIC... Always have and always will. I have something running all day long. and the cool thing is that I enjoy ALL kinds of music. From classics, Rock & Roll, to worship songs, contemporary christian bands,oldies, jazz and motown. But my all time favorite music ... is worship songs played on a single acoustic guitar by a local artist named Ryan. That man has so much passion you cant help but love whatever he is playing ( I love you Ryan)The key to any and all music for me are the lyrics... they have to have deep meaning and passion. If those two are present then the actual music is secondary. I guess I've always been a lyrics girl... that is until... just recently... when I noticed I've really been enjoying and appreciating guitar rifts and solos. (Gee.... I wonder why?)

Heroes:

Jesus Christ for loving me when I was the least lovable and continuing to pour his love and healing into me Until I could love others. And for teaching me what true love is all about by taking my place on that cross. (Thank you Father for accepting me just the way I am but loving me too much to let me stay there.) In my opinion there are all kinds of Heros in our world today. Men and Women who do extraordinary feats in times of unprecedented danger. Risking their own lives to save others. I know we are all profoundly grateful for those people and those times … But there is another kind of Hero in all of our lives… Everyday Hero’s if you will. Ones that may never get a medal of honor or certificate of recognition but are hero’s just the same. They are the people that you meet along life’s path that inspire and encourage you in such a way that your life will never be the same… I have had the honor of knowing several in my lifetime…But four in particular have touched my heart and changed my life forever…The first one is my Husband Brian, He is an amazing guy who has overcome tremendous obstacles since a Dr. (accidentally??) cut his spinal cord 13 years ago. That surgery left him disabled, paralyzed on one side and in constant pain most everywhere else. It also put him in a wheelchair for almost 5 years. That one incident changed his life and his future forever, but what it didn’t change was his attitude. Brian chose to believe that His Heavenly Father had good plans for him… despite what it looked (or felt) like. That no matter what… he was going to give the situation to God, and trust Him with the outcome. Choosing to believe “That ALL things work together for good to them that love God and are called according to His purpose.“ Romans 8:28 Now that to me is downright inspirational and Heroic! What the enemy meant for destruction was then turned around and used as a mighty sword of victory. He is also my hero for his determination and strength he had to learn to walk again, For choosing to live life everyday for others, for setting such a profound example of perseverance and courage for our family, and for choosing to be a the husband, father and friend that God has called him to be in spite of all his pain! Oh yea…. And for putting up with me all these years J! ( I love you honey you’ve been an amazing inspiration to us all and MY HERO.)My daughter Charisse, For an altruistic decision she made three years ago that still leaves me speechless & emotional whenever I think of it. Then daily watching her walk through the intense pain and loneliness left behind by that choice to find the joy in each new day. (Princess you are one of the most inspiring and courageous women I know. Never forget that you have a Heavenly Father that understands your pain and sacrifice. You are priceless and irreplaceable. You are royalty, a daughter of the king. A women created and designed for dignity and great things… and of course… my Sunshine! Don't let anyone convince you otherwise. Yes… You are a beautiful and unique snowflake... And you deserve the best… So… DON’T settle for less ;) I love you Always! )My son Ryan, For his courage and determination to live a life of purity in heart mind and body. Then for turning around and teaching other young men how to do the same. (Go Westmont Warrior Poets) For daily pointing others to his Heavenly Father through his music, his choices, his faithfulness, and his uncompromising Integrity. (Ryan you truly are a Warrior- Poet, another William Wallace, A Man after Gods own heart and MY HERO… Thank you for standing strong in the Lord, when so many have fallen around you. Your light and example will continue to drawn men to God in a profound way. You are a leader among leaders, with one of the most tender spirits and the Heart of a Lion. There wont be anything God wont be able to do through your submitted spirit and your steadfast obedience... You’re an awesome witness for the Lord and I’m very proud of you… and I love you... ‘To infinity and beyond’ :) My daughter Faith, For being one of the most Caring, Intuitive, and genuine young ladies I’ve ever met. For her courage and tenacity in overcoming her own disabilities and heartaches, and for always striving to be the best friend, daughter and young women she can be. She never hesitates to reach out to others to share her love, hope and friendship with such a sweet healing touch... its like a warm & gentle breeze. ( Faither’s you are such an inspiration to the people that know you and all that you‘ve accomplished. Time after time you have conquered those things the Drs said you would ever attempted. Challenge after challenge you determined to find “your own special way” around something. Never letting “I cant do it “ be a part of your vocabulary. You have been such a physical example of Gods love and ‘Faithfullness’ to all of us watching. You are one in a million faith. a diamond of immense value and a incredible treasure to those who love you. Never before and never again will there be another you… I believe God is asking you to pick your head up and look beyond the circumstances of today… to all that he has planned for you. (Jer.29:11) He so wants to expand your vision, empower your gifting and increase your influence, if only you will abandon it all for the sake of the call. You will lay hands on the sick and they will recover… and so much more. Remember that God named you... Faith… for a reason… and your name is part of your birthright and heritage. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not yet seen.” Heb. 11:1 Thank you for being such beautiful example of Gods faithfulness to me. Your love and influence has changed me, encouraged me, and inspired me more than you’ll ever know. You make my world brighter just by being in it.
