Band Members: Jeremy Dunlap - Guitar, lead vocals
Jeremy has played every instrument in the band at various points in our little chronology. The main songwriter, he also picks up the co-lead guitar with Levi. Jeremy later went on to play with the Company Anthem & Down to Kill. He now lives in the other Portland.Drew Perez - Bass, vocals if absolutely neccessary(let's hope it won't be)
The youngest member of the band (as if that means anything.) The former second guitar player for DHYS (hence the picture with a guitar), Drew moved to bass when Lunden dropped out. He'd still rather play guitar, dammit. Went on to play in the Leftovers and is now slapping bass for the Outsiders.LeeVai- guitar, vocals.
LeeVai ran away to join the Marines just when it was getting good. Spent a few years playing with DHYS every now & then (more often than you'd think). After 8 & 1/2 years he is a civilian again and is headed for Charlotte, NC. The only person on earth with a Don't Hit Your Sister tattoo (yep, Damn thing won't come off, either!).Westie - drums, vocals
The sixth drummer for Don't Hit Your Sister in 2 years (about the lifespan of any given punk band). He's also in Pinko and the Action Boys as a guitar player. He rocks. (in Amaranthus, wicked good, chief!)Past Members in no particular order.Lunden-Bass. Co-founder, really.Pete-Our 1st drummerDamien-DrumsCaleb-Drums
Caleb's arrival marked a new direction for DHYS. With LeeVai at Paris Island & Lunden leaving the band, there were major shake-ups going on. Caleb was right on time with the beat AND enthusiasm. LeeVai always said (not completely tounge-in-cheek, either) if we'd met Caleb 3 days sooner, he [LeeVai] never woulda joined the Marines! With Caleb in the band, DHYS's music really began an evolution. Caleb as been in Down to Kill and a slew of other great things!...that can't be right, I KNOW we've had more drummers than that!
Influences: Alcohol & Moxie and being shit on by the scene.
Sounds Like: you left a Bad Religion record in the sun & then played it at 45 RPM. Except on the song "Fuck You & The Horse You Rode In On"...that's just a Blanks 77 wannabe song.
