Biography 2008:
2008 has been Rob H’s year! His sublime set at Cream’s 16th Birthday saw him step his DJ level up a gear to take over the Main Room at Nation for his Cream debut. This awesome performance secured him a place on the Cream Boxing Night line-up, an accolade many up and coming DJs would kill for!
When purchasing his first Cream LIVE CD aged 14, Rob could never have imagined that his skills would eventually see his name sitting alongside the iconic Cream logo and the world’s 1 DJ Armin Van Buuren (DJ mag 2008). Now under the electronic spell Rob saw his musical journey take him to Creamfields 2003 where he saw something that would change his life’s direction. Inspired by the awesome energy & atmosphere that Tiësto, Paul Van Dyk & Eddie Halliwell could transmit into the crowds, Rob knew that this was the occupation for him.
Playing his home town bar and club circuit aged 18, his first big gig came in 2006 playing alongside Fergie at a night called Benevolence at Nation not knowing he would return once again as a Cream DJ. The last few years have transformed him into a well respected DJ with a great following in Liverpool known for sets at Kubik, Nuclear Audio and Garlands. Expanding his horizons Rob can be found smashing up various venues and club nights around the UK and dates in Ibiza.
Rob’s first love is trance and it’s this main room sound that has secured his Cream gigs to date. Playing regularly at Liverpool's progressive/tech house night etc..., Rob fulfills his passion for his proggier side. But Rob’s arsenal is wider than just trance and prog and includes techno & house – a versatile DJ indeed.
Rob is snapping at the heels of the big boys and ready to explode into 2009. If you haven’t already heard of him yet, you will - very very soon!
