clean air & reducing stress. Trees. Rocks. Moss. Music. Always music. Politics. Bellydance. Making cool stuff out of other stuff. Art. Photography. Movies. Good times, fun people, my kiddos.
Have you heard of Johari windows? They're spiffy. Go fill out mine here:
Udit's Johari Window
love the indigo.
I'd like to meet:
Jon. Stewart.
Ani DiFranco.
Kevin Spacey.
Angelina J. Not like I'd be able to talk, though, since I'd be starstruck. Oh well.
Fun people that are open minded. People who aren't junkies. People who swear but can avert their pottymouth ways when my kids are around. People who like to hang out and watch a movie, and drink a beer. People that want to bellydance in arkansas. Or not. People that are not lame. I'd like to hang out with Meg White. She seems interesting, and she was terribly shy on the daily show. I bet we'd have interesting conversations about repurposing things and such.
Check DIS out!! UNMATA's experimental bellydancing is SOOOO much fun!

Music:
an oldie but still one of my faves :D
and THIS is why I love Ani. I mean.. who can make shit like this come out of a guitar? Not anyone else I've ever seen/heard....
Ani difranco, because her cahones are big enough. Did I spell cahones right? Ok. Whatever. Tori Amos, even though she's crazy, because she's just obnoxious enough to be in the soundtrack of my life. Bjork. The Pixies. NIN. Cock Rocky Ballads. Nothing like 'em. 30 Seconds to Mars. I like all kinds of music, as long as it's not country. I can only deal with like two country songs.... I have recently found the white stripes, and I think I'm in love...

Movies:
Paradise Lost, both the first and second, really though the story is so much more than just a movie. Ever seen the films? Ever heard of the West Memphis Three?
Shaun of the Dead. Office Space. Reservoir Dogs. Leon. The Usual Suspects. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The Dark Crystal. Fight Club. Legends of the Fall. Those potter flicks, even though they can never live up to the books. The matrix, especially the third one, but only because that hottie butch chick is in it...
I love me some BellaNaTana. Go check out the bellas for yourself at www.bellanatana.com This vid is of Liquid Hips, who have evolved into Bellanatana! ..
Television:
The Daily Show. Boy, oh boy. I would show you why via a youtube clip but since they all got taken down, you'll have to just watch on comedy central or feel left out.
Other than that, kid's shows, sadly enough.
Oh wait, america undercover on HBO is pretty sweet. Then there's that new one.. whorehouse? No. Cathouse. that's it. That's on HBO too. I think I must like HBO. Six Feet Under was my all time favorite soap opera. Because regular soap operas suck.
ROME.
My newest love on TV is Dexter.
I also dig watching those trashy shows on like VH1 that show you how effed up celebrities are. Or how filthy rich. The voyeur in me, I suppose.
It seems these days that all you see is violence in movies and sex on tv.... but where are those good old fashioned values on which we used to rely???
Books:
"Stiff" by Mary Roach. Who woulda thought that reading about cadavers could be so fun?
Would it be redundant to put the Potter books down? I mean, I have the movies up there...
Stephen King, too.
Goodnight Moon. I Love You, Sun, I Love You Moon. Guess How Much I Love You. The Monster At The End of This Book. Where the Wild Things Are.
God, can you tell I have two little kids???
I just read 'I know this much is true" and for some reason I really, really liked it. Maybe because the characters are more effed up than I am. : )
Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events are the BEST BOOKS EVER to read to your kids!!!
Heroes:
People that have their shit together. People that get shit done. People without ADD. To sum it up, not effin ME. Tribal Feat. BellaNaTana.People that travel. People that help other people.Rita. Jimmy. Jacob. Athan. Rachel Brice. Becky. Jill Parker. Ani.
Anyone who can be queen of their own compost heap is alright by me.
