Kurai Kotoro came together this year but has been in the pipeline for a lot longer. Christian (lead vox, rhythm guitar) used KK as a pseudonym for many years, keeping a back catalogue of songs he felt were too personal for his band April's Last Chance. After the breakup of ALC, Christian was encouraged by friends and family to form a new band with his Kurai Kotoro material, so he asked friend and ex-Latonic guitarist Jay to help realise KK. Barry (ex-Seth and Crisis Project) joined them on drums, followed quickly by Ian (ex-Dropkick) on bass and Jordan on synth.
Kurai Kotoro begin recording their debut album in February 2007, look out for the single in the summer!
