Stephen K enary’s Debut Album “Before I Goâ€

A kinetic blend of lyric and melody, Stephen evokes sincere emotion by painting entire scenes with short lines of details remembered with a lover’s heart. In a word: intimate. His whispery vocals, though soft, are often somber and laden with nostalgia. Yet on tracks like “Hollywood Snowâ€, and “Robbing Banks†he proves that even sad songs can be happy, something that artists like Elliot Smith were famous for. However, with “Country Radio†he presents a solely carefree and fun loving attitude, one that completes the emotional spectrum of the album, a vibe similar to some of Connor Oberst’s more upbeat tracks.
Writing his first song at the age of eight, Stephen has since been involved in the writing and production of six albums through his involvement and collaboration with other various projects. His many years of experience culminate on this, his first, solo production. Fame for him may not be far off as he has already gained substantial recognition in the online community, through his personal website, (StephenKenary.com), and MySpace. A Vermont native, Stephen, has previously toured the northeast with other projects and plans to do a more elaborate and far reaching solo tour this spring.
