Our Anatomy

In The Near Future:
Our Anatomy will be joining Brisbane's Willows and fellow Melburnian and band mate, Distress Calls in the release of a three way split record. There will be roughly 20 minutes of content contributed by each party. Our Anatomy will be heading into the studio on the weekend of the 23rd & 24th of August. Also, there will be a few shows in the next couple of months prior to the release of the split. More details on all this as they come.

Our Anatomy is a project that has existed in one form or another for a few years now. Although without a name, I have been writing songs for it since I received an acoustic guitar for my eighteenth birthday.
It has lived a rocky, inconsistent life. And has taken the back seat to numerous other "projects", such as life, a lot of shitty jobs, inter-changing members, other bands and girlfriends. It has endured.
Though originally an acoustic project, there is currently a fresh attempt at incorporating additional members into the permanent line-up of Our Anatomy - thus it evolving into something that can be delivered in a more typical band format.
But if you do enjoy these demos, come down and see the more refined versions of these and other songs the next time I/we play someplace.
