Starlight Diner is a quirky little fellow who is more than happy to wear his heart on his sleeve. His songs are both sweet and melancholy, almost to the point being of mournful. Starlight Diner takes Qs from Ryan Adams, Bright Eyes, Wilco and The Magnolia Electric Company. His sound is very Indie, very Lo-Fi and very honest and raw, in short, Starlight Diner leaves just enough dirt on to give you the sense that you're witnessing something honest, intimate, innocent and beautifully naïve. The vocals drift into a tortured falsetto, the instrumentation sparse and simple, there's nowhere to hide here, there's a distinct absence of technical trickery, this is as honest as it gets.
Starlight Diner track "The Night You Walked Away" has recently been featured on a Triple J Unearthed Podcast and this is what Sarah Howells had to say;
Testimonial:
"Starlight Diner" creates the kind of distorted Indie music that's raw and earnest and easily washes over you... The track (The Night You Walked Away) is really interesting, it's Lo-Fi. And Starlight Diner sounds a lot like Jamie Hutchings meets Bright Eyes very pretty and very mellow"- Sarah Howells Triple J.For further information and bookings,Contact Wayne at KM&E Management Serviceshttp://www.myspace.com/krittamuzikandentertainmentkr
