La Bas

About Me

La Bas is a new electronic club project. I feel that most songs have a classic house sort of feel, though some darker and some with more techno vibes. The premier live gig was in Naples Italy, October 2005 at the Jail Club, organised by DJ Nox. Since then I have been mainly working in the studio. I have been into music all my life and I worked professionally playing drums and also guitar for bands (Therion etc) between 1995-1999. During that time I had great fun and got to gig together with bands like Portishead, Beastie Boys, Junkie XL, Nina Hagen etc. I have the last years studied at the university and created my little studio, which consists of a Mac, some analog synths, drumkits, mics etc. I have created music for a couple of films here in Sweden by famous author Anna Bornstein, which features original interviews with among others the Dalai Lama. The movies will be broadcasted on the Swedish television. Check out that project www.dreamofthegood.org____La Bas is currently open for bookings.
Live, I am planning to play some drums to the music, and use a live bass player. Get the grooooooove ;)
