Hi, my name is Mary Travis. I am a professional seamstress, specializing in home decor, and dressmaking. Nothing is as thrilling to me as finishing a project and being more excited about it than when I started. I try to paint a mood with fabric and design, seeking balance between the two. No fussing or fighting on my windows! I love crisp seams, buttons, and using nature as my muse. Curtains, pillows, tablecloths, placemats, napkins, Christmas accessories, those are my favorites. Dresses are another passion, and a whole different art! When a dress fits and feels beautiful, so does the woman inside it! I've been sewing 38 years, during which time I've taught classes, and pattern testing for Threads magazine and Quilter's Newsletter. I currently offer custom or original design curtains, quilts, and dresses. I enjoy meeting my customers, and exceeding their expectations each time. Each one is a new friend!
