I was going to school for musical theatre, so obviously that and it's major components are interests of mine. Aside from that, I love the outdoors and all that that implies: camping, hiking, skiing, fishing, horseback riding, rowing (I'm a member of the WWU Crew Team), etc. I love soccer and rugby like no other! Recently I've become addicted to slack lining and rock climbing. Basically, I love being active in nature. The environment is something to be cherished and respected; I'm a member of Green Peace and the Sierra Club. Global climate change makes me cry and I get angry when people don't use reusable grocery sacks/bags. I enjoy learning in general, but I especially like subject matter geared towards non-human primates and bones; I want to give up all my material possessions and live in the Sumatran rain forest with the Orangutans. I'm also an avid reader. Oh, and I'm a fanatic Seahawks fan; there's nothing like kicking back with a six pack and watching the game with friends(having five older brothers rubbed off on me). Also, I adore eccentric people...I live my life vicariously through them. Best crazy person quote of all time: "I'm just a fucked-up girl who's lookin' for my own piece of mind." How can you not love that?!

First, let me get this off my chest. If I don't know you from either New York, Montana, or Washington, chances are I won't friend you. That's not to imply that I don't love meeting and interacting with new people. I'm just not interested in people who collect MySpace friends like some sort of bizarre hobby...you don't have a snowballs chance in hell if you don't email me before putting in your request. My main concern is that you be chill and real about who you are...no fakes allowed!! And, if you insist on perpetuating the whole high school BS scene, don't even bother...I am by no means interested in drama. However...if your name is Katee Sackhoff, Paul Giamatti, Noam Chomsky, or Dane Cook those conditions do not apply. Actually, anyone who likes osteology, primatology, art history (specifically the Hellenistic period of Greek art) or anatomy is cool by me.
You Belong in 1978
Bold and brash, you take life by the horns. Whether you're partying or protesting, you give it your all!
What Year Do You Belong In?
Music truly is omnipresent, and I appreciate it all. Obviously, I'm a fan of musical theatre, and I find myself listening to it 90% of the time. The other 10% I devote to Queen (Freddie Mercury truly was a god walking amongst mere mortals), Mika (like Freddie Mercury...only gayer), Reel Big Fish, The Beatles (what's not to love?), John Lennon, Sean Lennon and Regina Spektor (simply fantastic). My favorite songs are "The Cocaine Blues" by Johnny Cash, "Hotel California" by the Eagles, and "Hallelujah" by Rufus Wainwright..I guess it just goes to show how random my musical taste is. Honestly, the only music I can't stand is of the "La, la, la, eat shit and die!" genre. I just don't see the point.

What Battlestar Gallactica Character Are You?
Starbuck
Spunk, angst, moxy, spirit, bloodlust, passion - you have all of that and more. You are full of energy and don't always put it where you mean to, often causing plenty of problems with the boss. But your fighting spirit is rare and your willpower is exceedingly powerful - while that may cause strife it also allows you to live life to its fullest. You don't ever go down without a fight, and you always show authority your true colors.

I read mostly classics. Going against what I just said, my all time FAVORITE books are "The Origin of Species" by Charles Darwin and "Tao Te Ching" by Lao Tzu (I wish I had the discipline in life to follow Taoism). My favorite novels are "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen(all of her work is on my list), "A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man" by James Joyce, "A River Runs Through It" by Norman Maclean, "The Bell Jar" by Sylvia Plath, "As I Lay Dying" by William Faulkner, "A Tale of Two Cities" by Charles Dickens, "1984" by George Orwell, "A Children's Story" by James Clavell, "Cat's Cradle" and "Mother Night" by Kurt Vonnegut, all the Harry Potter books (which are destined to become classics), "Don Quixote" by Miguel de Cervantes, "The Berlin Stories" by Christopher Isherwood, and "The Phantom of the Opera" by Gaston Leroux. Also, I'm a huge fan of Salinger's short stories. Absolutely brilliant! FYI: everybody should read "Christine Jorgenson: A Personal Autobiography" written by the fabulous Chrissy Jo (it's all for you Kyle); you can't beat 500 pages of showboating!
