About Me

Keith Chaiser first started recording simple compositions aged four. At age fourteen, taking inspiration from lesser known bleak Scottish poet Iain "Daddy" Longcock and a severve acne problem (which left him bed ridden for a year), he was inspired him to write his forgotton masterpiece "The Potato Boy", for which he acheived a merit award and a B+ but more importantly notoriety in Rotherhams jazz scene.

After leaving school with few qualifications and a brief stint as a semi-professional darts player (famous in Rotherham as "The Dartist") Keith embarked on his first musical adventure and formed the electro panic band The She-Michaels (early recordings coming soon!) with "Big Boy" Savoy, Rory Hardon, BJ Jones and Tits McGhee (below). After one critically acclaimed yet financially dissappionting debut album the band split due mainly to conflict between Hardon and Keith.....After severe emotional problems and one suicide attempt, Keith, along with "Big Boy" Savoy (below) and Tits Mcghee, formed the Faggots in 1991 and were immediately signed to Pungent Recordings. Succes for the Faggots did not come easy at first and several line-up changes followed; most notabley Tits McGhee dramatically quiting the band on stage during a sweaty gig in Scunthorpe. After a disastrous 18 months with Pungent, in which only one track, "Homo Balls", was released, the faggots split from the record label and Keith personally financed his own recordings. The self released EP "Daddy Longcock Doesn't Love Me Anymore" (a tribute to his boyhood idle) was hugely successful and sold all of the 2000 pressed copies overnight. The smash hit of the album, "Lung Cancer", became an underground classic and reached number forty six in the German charts. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Due to the success of this album the Faggots were signed by MonkeyToss Recordings and haven't looked back since. Keith's 1995 album "babybaybeebabeeeeeee" was a critical success and so have subsequent albums.~~~~~. ~#~#~#~#~#~ His most recent collaboration with Las Vegas' very own Tom Jones "Pullin My Wire" looks set to be a homo-gothic underground smash hit, with NME calling it "shocking".
