Ms. Priscy was raised on the west side of Chicago. She is a loving and devoted mother of two sons, and a scholar and teacher to those around her. She is a poet and song writer. She’s been writing poetry most of her life using it as a coping mechanism to deal with everyday life experiences.
She is the Author and Illustrator of a self published book of poetry titled Strong Feelings sold at some major book stores (The Gospel Rack)

She has performed educational poems in front of thousands of people in Italy (Reggio Emila)
In Ms. Priscy’s Political Arena, She has recited poetry for many political causes, sponsored by numerous of official leaders The Mayor in Atlanta Georgia-(Victory over Violence, Congressman Danny K. Davis. She has performed at special events for Senator Rickey R Hendon’s 5th Senatorial District where she is a member.
Ms. Priscy was the poet picked from thousands out of Chicago to take part of the Chicago Music Opportunity Project (CMOP) 2004. This project was funded by the Governor of Chicago (Rod R. Blagojevich), Senator Rickey R. Hendon, R. Kelly, and other various music producers.
She is on the Chicago Music Opportunity Project, CMOP) CD compilation (Chicago). Ms. Priscy also has had the honor of being the Back stage Manager at a concert for the winners of the CMOP, where Mr. Sam Silk from WGCI was the hosted.
Ms. Priscy was a host for the Deomfastbreak Music & CD search where she personally hosted executive producers from major record labels (Jive, Rockland, Sony…)
Her poetry has played on 1 radio stations: 92fm, 106fm, 89.3fm, 1160am and now playing world wide on WGCR.US internet radio. Her poetry gets over 100 spin a week.Ms. Priscy has an A.A. in Early Childhood Education, a B.A. in Psychology and Social Science and soon will be working on her Master in Special ED
Ms. Priscy is also an entrepreneur. She is the CEO/Executive Director her own outreach program which caters to the youth in her community ages 6-21 years of age called Priscy’s Production Outreach Program NPF (PPOP) It is a seven unit program which consists of computer education, making the children in her community more computer literate. Literacy is one of the second units, poetry being the third. The children are encouraged to write their own poetry which is later transformed into a self published book and then produces a full musical CDs, the fourth unit is dance. The children are taught many dances from various cultures, and perform them throughout the city of Chicago year round. The fifth being sketch. In this unit children are given a chance at free style drawing. Their drawings are based on different events, social awareness and self portraits. The six units are vocal lyrics. In this unit the youth learn how to verbally express themselves through various raps, poems, drama and songs. The seventh and last unit is music where they put it altogether.
Ms. Priscy is also the CEO/Owner of a full music recording studio Straight to the Point Studio, and has her own musical label Priscy P. She donates special hours to the youth allowing them opportunities to be creative and let off steam from everyday life, and make professional CDs. As well as have the youth go out into the community and give back by performing for them at block club parties, libraries, park district functions, political events, school, aired on WKKC 89.3 FM Mr. Dennis H. Snipe (Focustalk) to promote their first CD Compilation (2008). The program has published over 50 books, produced over 100 CDs and Demo, as well as over 300 instrumental tracks.
In the music unit youth are taught how to use various music studio equipment, such as; protocols, 002 rack, MPC 4000, motif 6, mixing board, G4 apple computer and other various musical software. All of these units are used as coping strategies to build youth’s self-esteem. Digital Photography trainings were added to the youth in April 2007. At the end of the year Priscy’s Production have an outdoor/indoor Expo where all the children’s accomplishments are displayed. As the Executive and Director, Ms. Priscy has the knowledge to run and operate all equipment. She supervises and coordinates the operation of the program. She maintains as well as oversees that records are accurately maintain, contacts and follow-ups are carried through.
