VITAL is the first artist to be released under Illahalf Records.
He is founder and CEO of the record label. After semi-annual mix CD releases and countless shows nationwide, the time is nearing for VITAL's new album release.
VITAL is D.C.'s own. Born and raised in Southeast D.C. and Northern Virginia, he is a product of the environment that he represents.
As part of the local music circuit VITAL has quickly climbed the ranks to become the city's premiere rapper. He teamed with producer PROFIT to create the dynamic, energetic and original sound that has become the trademark of Illahalf Records. It was performing with Jadakiss, Scarface,Tank,The Clipse and headlining the Spring Break Explosion with MTV's Real World in Myrtle Beach, S.C. that earned VITAL spins on major radio stations and in the biggest clubs in the region.
