'Dosage' aka Owen Thomas Kendrick was born in Birkenhead, Merseyside May 1984. At the age of three, Owen and family moved to Southampton, Hampshire where they lived for many happy years and still to this day do.
Owen has always had a keen interest in music even at a young age. He started playing the guitar at the age of seven before taking up instruments such as piano, synths and bass guitar at the age of 14. After finishing school with good music results he then went on to college to study film, but he soon got fed up with the other subjects he had to take and so droped out after only three months. For a few years after quitting college Owen worked for two insurance companies for regular pay, but soon got hacked off with that and decided to go back to college, this time to study music. Owen spent a year at Southampton City College studying music production at which point he had bought himself some turntables and his jungle record collection was well underway. He would then spend the next year completing his course and some basic drum and bass tracks. In this year Owen also organised two raves in Southampton, one a fund raiser for friend Tyrone McCullan who had sadley passed that year. At this point Owen was known under the name as Trippa, and after succesfully passing his first year, he decided to complete his following two years at The British Accademy Of New Music in Bromley-by-Bow, East London. At the age of twenty, Owen moved to West Ham for this course along with friend Joe Jenvey aka 'Mc Switch'. For the next three years Owen continued to learn his chosen trade and produce more and more improving beats and got to grips with mass pro audio equipment and software. He later appeared on a few pirate radio stations and performed at some local nights under the new name of 'Dosage'. In May 2007 after a succesfull set at Southamptons White House, Owen moved back to Southampton where he continues to produce his music under the name of Dosage.
