Life is My Orchard

About Me

I'm a professional horse trainer in Florida. I swore against getting a MySpace account, I am generally anti-myspace. I barely know anyone who uses myspace, apart from my sister. Thus she is the reason I set this up and you are quite aware now why the buddy list can be likened to an inhospitable planet. (*Amended: There has been a recent spike. Consequently, the aforementioned sentence is no longer of any use what so ever. Splendid that you read it anyway eh?) My previous description was so long it invoked eminent feelings of dread and a tidal wave of tears induced from tedium. This version is a pleasant runt compared to the previous, I hope you appreciate the truncation.
So for some quick stats about me, that is, if you're still reading and have not yet renounced this page. I was born and raised in South Florida, I quite authentically enjoy music, art, decorating, photography, graphic creation, and various other boring hobbies when I'm not working with horses. I love the Victorian era and intricate architecture, Thomas Kinkade oils and techno music. A lot of my time right now is focused on my business, I feel strange being 22 and the CEO of a corporation, but so far it's been pleasant and rewarding. I spent a few years away from Florida, I thought I was going to enjoy it, alternatively I fancied the idea of base jumping without a parachute more than staying away for another day. Alas, I was gone for almost 5 years. I have returned since purchasing a house and flipping it right before moving, which proved to be an outstanding decision. (*Amended: Due to numerous events it is worth stating, so as not to bilk, that I am here for networking and friends only. If you aspire to be more than friendly, your ambitions will be subjugated.) Finally. Don't be stupid. We have politicians for that.
"I bow to the rider who, indifferent to his surroundings, works the horse to his own satisfaction, and having tried to attain his ideal, terminates the lesson, dismounting from his horse content and yet, at the same time, dissatisfied. Content because the work went well, dissatisfied because he feels his achievement to be far from the ideal." - Nuno Oliveira

Please take note: I only add music profiles I enjoy/support. Also I hate left to right scrolling. If your graphic is too large I will request that you delete and repost the image at a smaller scale...

My Interests

Dressage, training, behavior modification, studying animal psychology. Sounds like fun eh? I drive my friends and family crazy with it. But when I'm not being a total dweeb, oh wait, that's never.

I'd like to meet:

Completely imcompetent people with minds that occupy such a barren expanse as to render them wholly stultified...and the warmblood of my dreams. ..!

Music:

Almost everything! Whatever sounds good. Music courses through my veins. Some I'm not proud to admit, but I will anyway! Crystal Method!!! Rabbit in the Moon! Chemical Brothers, Godsmack! Bjork, NIN! Manson, John Mayer, Fiona Apple, Shakira, Christina, Mandy Moore (scary eh?) Rob Zombie, Alice in Chains, Rage Against The Machine! Deftones, Enya, The Beatles, Filter, Veruca Salt, Poe, Radiohead, Silver Chair (their old stuff,) Bush, Engima, Daniel Bedingfield, Jem, DJ Rap, DJs: Irene, Tiesto, Baby Anne, Jean.. What else, BT, The Streets, Lautsprecher, MystefFox, DJ Bernie (in the UK) Orbital, Roni Size, Megan Mullally, Our Lady Peace, STP, Alanis, Blind Melon, Eels, Janes Addiction, Toadies, The Doors, Hinder, Dream, The Cranberries, Celine Dion, Suzanne Vega, Christine Lavin, Sublime, Lords of Acid, Damien Rice, Ashanti, Gorillaz, Craig David, Sade, Edwin McCain, Bryan Adams, Brian McKnight, Eryka Badu, SWV, TLC, Lou Bega, Michelle Branch, Clash, Tonic, Offspring, Pearl Jam...Ok That's enough.

Movies:

I'm rather picky but: Fight Club!! The Bourne Identity, Closer, Silence of the Lambs, Nightmare Before Christmas, Se7en, Les Triplettes de Belleville, The Matrix, Resident Evil, American Beauty, Alice in Wonderland, May, Shaun of the Dead, Scary Movie(s), Lord of War, Heavenly Creatures, Black Beauty, The Fifth Element, Hannibal, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Interview With the Vampire, Leon, Layer , Meet Joe Black, Red Dragon, Sin City, Talented Mr. Ripley, The Truth About Charlie, The Wisdom of Crocodiles (A.K.A. Immortality), Addams Family (all of them), Wonderboys.

I'd rather dig my eyes out with a rusty spoon than ever watch any of the following, ever again: Zoolander, Titanic, Home Alone, Cast Away, anything with Tom Cruise, Grease, Armageddon, My Best Friend's Wedding, any comedy with Jim Carrey (he's acceptable in dramas.)

Television:

I don't get a chance to watch much but I love Will & Grace because Karen is my not so secret idol and Southpark, Friends is ok and I hate reality TV shows.

Books:

Well Authors: Anything by Sylvia Loch, Alois Podhajsky, William Cavendish Newcastle, Aldous Huxley, Lewis Caroll, Nuno Oliveira, Edgar Allen Poe (yes, he wrote stories), Ivan Pavlov, Xenophon, Vladimir Nabukov and such.

Heroes:

Karen from Will & Grace. (I'm not obsessed). Other heroes would be, Reiner Klimke, Carol Lavell and Anky van Grunsven...

Holly Days Parade 2005

Snickers has been in approximately eight parades now. She has been featured in newspapers and within local club postings. Even in her early years. Try as they may, no marching band, car, or any nu...
