BIOGRAPHY:
Naturally this undeniably gorgeous brown-eyed, brown-haired beauty stands at 5' 9 ½ inches", 34B bust,24" waist, 35" hips all weighing in at a flawless 122 lbs. The proper word to describe this statuesque youngLady would be MODEL; and yes, she is. However to the untrained eye, Camille is more than a model. HerBeauty appears the bird of Paradise flower falling landing on the honking hood of a New York City TaxiDuring rush hour. Her pure "Madison Avenue beauty is as exotic as Jamaicas botanical gardens". HerWest Indian ethnicity is blended with Caucasian, Chinese, Spanish, Indian and African. She only could beMistaken through a kaleidoscope as the girl next door. Being a First-Generation American has allowedHer to see striking similarities and differences within American and Caribbean cultures that make herWhole. Embracing her Jamaican roots lavished with the richness of British, African, Chinese, and ArawakIndian melding keeps her strong. Strength has never been an option considering the struggles of CaribbeanPeople. Not only being a fresh, new International model, she is a dazzling fashion designer andTelevision, host.
Recently completing fashion extravaganzas as far east as Japan as well as, India, Milan, Greece,Switzerland, Jamaica, and New York. With a track record like this in less than a year Camille is destinedFor stardom. With all of these responsibilities, Camille makes the time to consciously involve herself inCommunity service, subscribing herself to the HIV / AIDS awareness.Hand-selected by Tyra Banks to appear on her hit reality TV show America's Next Top Model 2.
(ANTM2 has been sold to over 40 countries around the world where Camille is recognized as a celebrity).Camille wowed over 30 million plus people not with external beauty, but with her vivacious, aggressive,Sassy attitude all of which explains why Camille has always been a winner in competitions. Camille isProud of her titles as a former Miss Florida and Miss Jamaica USA, all of which took place beforeANTM2. Camille believes that being a public figure she can encourage others to find themselves and theirDreams as she continues to take the steps toward her personal goals. Now with her incredible fan base,Camille encourages the youth to stay in school, take an active role in their community and to improve theirHealth through regular, medical checkups and diet. As an active mentor of the Sister Power, Big BrothersBig Sisters, and Life Beat organizations she continues to complete her education at Howard University
Double majoring in Marketing and Advertising and has completed her minor in Fashion. Four classes awayFrom graduation, she encourages others to go for their dreams but always have a Plan B. "There is no betterFoundation, than education to fall back on. Education is the V12 in my Aston Martin". Her fashion successis also attributed to aggressively securing internships at Howard, Camille interned with Women's WearDaily (WWD), W magazine, Azzure Denim/Indigo Red and renowned fashion designer Diane vonFurstenberg. These internships allow Camille to stay abreast of the latest urban couture fashion andBusiness giving her an edge on the competition. After ANTM2, Camille felt it was imperative to return to her community to support the people whoSupported her on the show rather than immediately signing with an agency. Outraged by the skyrocketingNumbers of HIV/AIDS related cases among young women in her age group, one of Camille's objectives asA celebrity is to educate the youth by sending them the message of protecting themselves againstHIV/AIDS and STD's.
Camille's philanthropic ways and passion for fashion have directed her to the launching of her limitededition lingerwear collection. Accompanying each piece is a certificate for a free health exam. Noting that"Protecting themselves and their partners without making the situation an embarrassing, uncomfortable andlife threatening one is key". In one month Camille raised over $60,000 for HIV/AIDS awareness inconjunction with the International Dancehall Queen Competition. Camille donated money to the St. JamesHealth Department in Montego Bay, Jamaica where HIV/AIDS numbers are most alarming. As ofNovember 2005 Camille completed a six-city fashion tour in India where more people in Indias historyhave checked into hospitals and testing centers for screening. In addition the effects of Hurricane Ivan'scatastrophic devastation on Jamaica caused Camille and Linkup Media, other radio personalities andProminent reggae artists to team up and raise over $50,000 and 50 barrels filled with donations from theBronx and surrounding communities.
Currently Camille is signed to St. International Modeling Agency. She travels the world as a brightlySpirited, enthusiastic yet humble individual touching lives of millions at a time through her inner and outerBeauty.
