About Me

****HOT NEWS***HOT NEWS**** Darker than Disco EP available now to download from..Click Here to BuyDARKER THAN DISCO video....SUICIDE SHOES video.....SUICIDE SHOES alternate video..... IN RESISTANCE OF CELEBRITY CULTURE, ALL THE REAL STARS WENT UNDERGROUND........... Newly signed to Virtual Lighthouse Records......detractors beware.......Started musical life dubiously known as 'Paul Moneo' in the 90s with indie label Stephan Records. Released 'It's Over', written by Mark Walker and produced by JJ Jeckzalic from 'The Art Of Noise' and Bob Kraushauer (PSB, DOA, FGTH). Great song, shit production (too pop), and the video was worse.......Spent years in the wilderness working with Mark walker (Karrade, Ten Planets) as duo 'The Haven', on electropop material. Interest from Major Labels was rejected by the artist. "They wanted the new 'WHAM', I wanted artistic control, they were full of shit". Then worked with actor/musician Jez Grainger as 'The Blue Angels' on Ballads and blues and accoustic gigs which were recieved well.Went solo and bulit home studio to work on project, 'ROSES FOR THE MADMAN'. With guest writers, programmers and DJs to bring flavours to the table. The ultimate aim is a credible mix of Electro/Disco with a punk 'DIY' attitude and real songs that stand alone, With a mix of startling imagery, caustic tongue in cheek lyrics and a catchy vocal line.Has now recorded ten , 4-5 song EPs* 1. The Raw & Naked Disco Mix. 2. Electroniciconic. 3. Sex Drugs Disco. 4. Bohemic. 5. Music for Priests and Pornstars. 6. Death By Disco. 7. The Luxury & The Misery. 8. Diabolique. 9. A Threat to the balance and level. 10. It brought us together, It tore us apart.'STRANGE BOY' & 'CYBER' (Mouse mix) Have been released as Promo singles. Remixes By KARRADE: Heading for Breakdown, Suicide Shoes and THE DEBUT SINGLE 'DARKER THAN DISCO' Karrade's 'Silent radio edit' and 'Dark EXTENDED MIX' Available NOW on iTunes.TRAGIC FILTH clothing happened like all great things. - By mistake. A little bleach splashed on a pair of jeans one day, coupled with a torn pen scrawled T-shirt got people asking "Where do you get your clothes?" Experimentation and a short stint at fashion and textile college followed and here I am two years later with 4 collections and 3 runway shows under my belt. My tutor told me NOT to go to fashion college, "It will dilute you." Commisions are welcomed and all work is hand stitched, hand painted and hand printed. Scouring Flea markets and car boot sales for items that are 'deeper than retro' & 'darker than vintage' to tear up, strip down and make that 'look' FIERCE. It's eco friendly too without being 'Namby Pamby' or 'Hearts & flowers' crap and 90% is recycled. NO AGENDA is the motto and the ethos being that these clothes are for everyone, 'unisex' is too narrow a term to use. "SOCIAL INTERACTION MAY BE LIMITED WHEN WEARING, BUT ANYONE WHO WOULDNT SPEAK TO ME WEARING MY CLOTHES, I WOULDNT WANT TO BOTHER WITH ANYWAY." *all images protected by copyright TRAGIC FILTH 2006

Sounds Like:ROSES FOR THE MADMAN!! with a delicious helping of KARRADE on remix duties. A mix of beats and primarily 'Old skool DIRTY DISCO' basslines , Smooooth house breaks and vocals with a vicious intellectual edge. No Agenda, Non 'politicopop', but has a message with tongue firmly stuck in cheek. Home made music, mixing DIY ethics (ANALOG, DIGITAL, LIVE, & SAMPLES) and commercial hooklines And it LOOKS like it sounds. Why do so many bands today look and sound like amatueurs who work at the local supermarket? Why do they all play it safe? Where have all the 'Stars' gone??? 'Talent' shows on TV making the music business a national karaoke. The charts are a joke, We live in a 'music by numbers' mainstream culture. And it's FUCKED.
