Born Brian Theard in the 70's. Ya boy was exposed to all kinds of music especially Funk & Soul. Groups like the Gap Band Con Funk Shun and Earth,Wind, and Fire and Parliament got major play in his home. This type of music left a permanant stain on his brain. Then in the 80's when rap started becoming more of a household name. Artists like Too $hort Run-D.M.C., N.W.A, Ice T, LL Cool J, 2 Live Crew and the Geto Boys became his choice of groups that stayed in his walkman and cassette player. Fascinated with the playa and gangsta type lyrics that these groups potrayed, he developed his own personal love and style of rapping around 88' and cause he was an excellent student and had knowledge ahead of kids almost twice his age. his homies nicknamed him " The Wiz". In the early 90's he formed a group with his click of homies and they named it "The Backyard". Instantly the group gained a local fan base performing shows around the cities of Fairfield and Vacaville CA. They performed one for a missing person and it was one of their largest ,with the whole front rows calling their name before the other acts even were finished with their peformances! Offers for signing deals were on the table one was with Absolute Managment Group out of Oakland with Mark Hooker. No one could agree on the contract so they went their separate ways. For awhile he continued to make music here and there. Until in 98' he hooked up with a Richmond rapper named Rinnessy and EJ through a potna that he did time with named Ace. They dibbled and dabbled with a few songs, but nothing came to light. Come 2003: His childhood friend Twamp asked him to be in a show in Arizona called the Yay Area Bash it had a few other local rappers and reinspired him to give it a try again. The show wasnt a success, but it did get him back into the flow of things. A producer Alley Al (R.I.P.) hooked him up with some beats and he wrote about six songs that were the frame for his 2004 debut The EP which was released on his own Gorilla Bout Da Scrilla Records formed by him and his partner Lil'Shorty. The label includes Birmingham, Al artists Lil' Nate (Loose-N-Twisted released in 2005).Dropped the Cali-Bama Connection Compilation in 2007 featuring top notch talent from across the country!!!Formed the Booze Bros. with J-Ski with plans for a Summer 2008 release.
