Crash-dive were formed in 2002 by Che, former guitarist in the skacore band Happy Day, and Bobo. They had a hard time trying to set the definitive lineup, and the band had several guitarists and bass players before reaching the actual lineup. The first solid line-up included Andrea on the drums and Al, former 200Bullets bass player as guitarist. Most of the members of the band are from Trezzo sull’Adda, a town between two provinces. The band’s first demo was released in 2004 and included 4 ass kicking punk tracks; from now on they appear live in many clubs, supporting more and more important bands such as 200 Bullets, Water Tower (that performed at Rock in Idro ’06) and Statuto, the historical ska band from Turin. Crash-dive play fast punk contaminated by melodic sparks and skacore episodes; their main influences vary from Bad Religion to NoFX, from Rancid to Offspring. A song taken from the demo is played on air from Radio Popolare and the demo itself is afterward reviewed by the magazine “Tribe†on the June issue. After Matteo and Andrea leave the band, Stefano and Ricky join in, and in April, 2007 the first full-length album titled “Ingiustizie†is released. It’s a 12-tracks of direct melodic punk mainly centred on social lyrics. After the release, the band is on tour and on summer, it joins the “Disaster Summer Tourâ€, a touring festival that involves 6 bands. Between November and December, 2007 the band toured around Holland.
