...Having mastered English by the age of 2, i decided to take a break from language study for the next 20 odd years before following in the footsteps of my Viking ancestors and leaving the safety of home for foreign shores – albeit a little further afield .....And I upped sticks and moved to Tokyo just over 3 years ago.
....When i got here I adopted the same method id used previously in learning English for learning Japanese – by looking around a bit, watching TV and generally patting things with my hands... But.....after a year of this I was not far past "Konnichi wa" ....and decided it was time to pull out all the stops...and...so I went to a Local “Book Off†store and bought a book......6 months later....I opened it...ha ha
