About Me

You know how you really say you hate doing these things, but you end up doing them anyway? Yeah...that's me. I work days and nights lately. Not much time for much else since two and a half hours of my day are spent on driving. But when I do get out, you can see me with my closest friends.I'm also one of my brother's biggest fans when he's on stage (off stage - it's a different story - just kidding Sinboy - you know I luv ya no matter what and where!!)I'm the proud mom of Brian, my now 21-year old son. Yes, folks, I have a child and he is that old!! ha ha I'm very proud of him as you will see. He also has an amazing girlfriend who I think is absolutely fantastic. I'm very happy she's in his life and mine as well.I've started traveling recently, going to Costa Mesa and Atlanta. Looking forward to going overseas soon.My first time on the West Coast was awesome, though I do not see what the hype is about. I would take the East Coast over the West Coast anytime. At least I would not have to spend the $$ on having my face plastered just to fit in. One more Stepford Wife and I think I would have puked!!

My Interests

Dancing, Patriots football, socializing, cooking, cross-stitch (yes, don't laugh, I cross-stitch - I also crochet), trying new restaurants, walking the beach, making people smile, and reading Stephen King novels. Did I say Patriots? Oh yeah...I did.

I'd like to meet:

Don't have a particular person in mind, but I love to meet interesting people and try to every day. I love hearing about other people's adventures and live procariously through them at times.

Music:

Pretty much anything but country but love classic rock, heavy metal and techno. I also listen to Pop and R&B. Love Ozzy and Usher - my two ultimate favs. Other favorites are Def Leppard, Amber, Whitesnake, 112, Jimmy Buffet, Kylie, Led Zepplin, and Nickelback, to name just a few. I also love to support the local favs, Wayne Micheal, DJ Dena and AV8. I support local bands like Into Oblivion, gotta plug them in somewhere because they are definitely worth the shout out. (Hey you are reading this from someone who used to hang with the formerly extinct band Extreme.) Gotta give the Living Room a shout out because I have tons of memories from there! But love when I can find my two favs that combine the two - rock and techno. Have you ever heard Ozzy and Whitesnake in Techno..lol. I have it! No word of a lie. If it has a beat, I'll find it.If you can make me dance, I'll love ya for eva.

Movies:

Dirty Dancing, The Shining, Carrie, The Wizard of OZ, The Sound of Music, Silence of the Lambs - I'm all over the place when it comes to movies.

Television:

Lately...Law & Order, Without a Trace, reruns of Charmed, Project Runway, and almost anything on the Food Channel.

Books:

Anything by Stephen King,currently reading Cell. Some Robin Cook and Anne Rice, and some self achievement books - "The Assertive Advantage", "Will the Real Boss Please Stand Up." are a few of my favorites - you can tell I'm an Aries?

Heroes:

My son, who continues to amaze me every day with his perspective on life, his generosity, his loving heart and his persistence. Also, anyone who can walk this earth with a smile on their face and make other people smile as well. Lord knows, that's not easy!
