Miss Gay RI 2004 Angela Butana

For those of you who knew me growing up, or for those who just met me recently here is a little biography of my life so far.
I was born in Trenton, NJ on December 9, 1977 and in August of 1996 I moved to Providence, RI to attend Johnson & Wales University. During my years in NJ it was my pleasure to be involved with many community theatre groups, and to be involved in many shows. My personal favorites are Opera Theatre of TCNJ production Mikado (I was like 10) and South Pacific where I was a replacement for one of the children. But my most favorite show memory is my senior year production of GREASE!! where I designed the sets. Up until that time I was never comfortable perfoming on stage I was content to be backstage however in 2000 the person you have all come to love and hate as Angela Soprano-Butana was born at 69 Union Street Station (Now Closed).
Over the years I have participated in some great fundraising events such as the annual VAMPIRES BALL, Boat Cruise, Trailer Trash Ball, and most recently the Legends Calendars, but most notably during the 2004 Triple Crown Pageant, I was crowned MISS GAY RI 2004.
