One's soul can be robbed of its power by resentment. - Vilayat Inayat Khan

About Me

I listen way more than I talk... I'm a big fan of introspection, just not necessarily of self-disclosure. Freedom is important to me. I value consistency. I often use the words "dude" and "shawty" as terms of endearment. I think people conform to social norms out of a desire for comfort and security, developing lives filled with habits and diversions... creating simplistic labels with which to classify people and ideas so as to avoid the mental work necessary to understand differing views and behaviors.
I think everyone should have a good working understanding of the concept of hegemony... I hate most forms of government, the iron cage of bureaucracy, and corporate commercialism. I abhor elitism, but I do feel people from New Jersey are significantly smarter and better natured then everyone else... I think we are capable of creating a better world. I admire the devotion and beliefs of both Mennonites and Jainists. The best people I know all come from either the Kingdom of Nepal or the State of New Jersey or the County of Gwinnett.
All the pics on this page are linked to something, although in some cases the image has no direct connection to the site it represents. Put simply, I liked the image and then linked it to whatsoever I thought was apt... Sort of an exercise in free-association. I think much of the linked info is rather informative (and by this I mean in general, not necessarily about me or my subconscious, per se).

Your Birthdate: September 27
Your birth on the 27th day of the month (9 energy) adds a tone of selflessness and humanitarianism to your life path. Certainly, you are one who can work very well with people, but at the same time you need a good bit of time to be by yourself to rest and meditate. There is a very humanistic and philanthropic approach in most of things that you do.
