Jerry Doby has been making promotion waves in the entertainment industry since 1998 when he left his paralegal position at a multi-national law firm to accept his first challenge as Talent Coordinator on a major documentary film, Welcome to Death Row. In 2001, he became the first independent producer to create a successful overseas tour for the NBAs Celebrity Basketball League to celebrate over 60 years of the USOs support of our troops in harms way. In 2002, the Hip Hop Hall of Fame honored Jerry for his creative work with independent record labels and his lecture work at Dillard University in New Orleans. 2004 welcomed Doby with a listing in the Indie Bible, a whos who listing for the independent music industry. His current projects include column based special events for the industrys top urban media outlet, The Source Magazine. Responsibilities include market expansion and attaching The Source brand to exclusive events like international activities to support and entertain U.S. troops abroad. Generating and solidifying relationships between his clients and their target demographic has become his specialty.
