Music: Metal/Rock, preferably in the progressive or power vein, but I sometimes delve into the heavier or more modern stuff as well. I also enjoy Romantic era classical, a tiny bit of jazz, and musicals. I've been a musician my whole life, and play a variety of instruments...violin, piano, baritone horn, guitar, and I sing too. I love music, and always have something playing in my head. Only problem is that half the time it hasn't been written yet, and I'm left wishing that I had the skill to truly do my imagination justice.....Writing/Reading: Pretty much anything involving fantasy adventure, horror, or sci-fi. I've tried a little poetry with mixed results, and ended up realizing that my best stories were actually modern fiction. I also enjoy the classics, primarily all of Shakespeare's works and a few other authors as well. I dream of one day writing the bestselling novel that crosses several genres and manages to be truly considered original.....Dorkiness: Dungeons & Dragons, World of Warcraft, Dagorhir (medieval foam-fighting sport), and a little bit of Warhammer. I also enjoy spending hours at a time discussing topics of philosophy that are seemingly pointless yet boundless in depth.....Cooler Hobbies: Archery, Camping (often associated with Dagorhir), Martial Arts, Hockey, Football.....Overall I like to think I have a pretty good mix of things going on, and fail to be placed in one specific category of "type" of person.
