I haven't read anything recently. A lot of music magazines. AP, CMJ, NME, etc. My favorite two books of all time are "100 Years Of Solitude" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and "The Last Temptation of Christ" by Nikos Kazantzakis. Reading those books is an event, not just a time killer at the beach.
My father worked every day of his life for 14-18 hours a day so his family of 8 kids would have a roof over their heads and food on the table. After he passed over 20 years ago, my mother has made sure none of her kids ever wanted for anything...Felix, my dog, has gone through two seperate life threatening surgeries. I am constantly awed by his perserverence, strength, and unconditional love...they are my heroes.
