Oh man... so many movies I could list here for so many reasons... so here's the cream of the crop :) The Matrix, Castle in the Sky, Grave of the Fireflies, Alien, Braveheart, Gladiator, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Star Wars (especially the original trilogy), Requiem for a Dream, Fight Club, Seven Samurai, Clockwork Orange, Wedding Crashers, Shrek, Shaun of the Dead, and Big Lebowski...
Much shorter list than the movie section... don't watch all that much TV, but there are a few shows that really drew me in... House, Firefly, Junkyard Wars (RIP), MASH, Adult Swim...
Ugh... only wish I had more time to read... Last thing I read through was the Da Vinci Code (but come on who hasn't by now?) Now reading Catch 22 in bits and pieces when I have time...
