About Me

James and Louisa love each other very much and when two people love each other, something very special happens. They make a baby, and that baby is you, Sweetbriar.Sweetbriar sounds kind of like if the Newport Folk Festival had taken place at the Grand Ole' Opry. Sweetbrair makes you want to cry, make out, and take your shoes off all at the same time.

Sounds Like: Sounds like post beatnick folk music. Like when folk music started to discover LSD but before it got too psychadelic. So, more like the Farinia's and less like the New Modal Wranglers. Really sweet and simple loves songs, with homespun songwriting and Carter Family style harmonies. Basically, we just want people to hear our songs and then have the uncontrollable urge make out.
