After the first school bands the 16-year old Jewel Timo succeeded in persuading his Dad to put a band together:Daddy and the Bluesmakers. 4 years later the ex-class clown plays with top-class musicians like funk legend George Clinton, Reggie Worthy(Tina Turner),Chris Heart(B.B.King),Martin Langer(Marla Glen). He also collects first experiences as songwriter and producer for artists like Glass(Bed and Breakfast) or Achim Deegen(Six Was Nine). Some releases for clients like Siemens, Mannesmann, Nestle,Ministry Of Sound etc. follow. This mainly arises out of the longstanding collaboration and friendship with the EMI sublabel Selected Sound. In 2002 the adopted hamburger rocked a TV & Radio Tour for a few months with Marlon through Germany. Jewel Timo´s striking beard styling and outfit finds a lot of fans and starts off a new trend. One time he met Red Hot Chilli Peppers lead singer Anthony Kiedis backstage and inspired him prompt to an update of Anthonys haircut. Maybe this is one reason why a lifestyle magazin called Jewel Timo simply THE styler. Actually his Solodebut JOOL´S DIARY has just released.
