About Me

Well...........I have a friend that has been asking me (repeatedly, I might add) " so when are you getting a myspace?" so here I am. (You know who you are!) I am not really the type of girl that likes to talk about myself but here goes..... Basically, I am kind of silly. I love to laugh(and laugh and laugh). I like people that can make me smile just by thinking about them. I am pretty shy at first (always have been) but I love to learn about new things and I am excited about how many different types of people are on myspace and I would be so happy and honored if you share some time with me. Ok, I hope that didn't sound too sappy but I genuinely mean it. I try really hard to always be kind but once I get to know you I can also be a bit sarcastic if the opportunity presents itself. Music:

Oh, music. I love almost everything! It just really depends on my mood any particular day. I love classic rock but I like alternative too. I rebelled a bit against country growing up but I must admit after living in Texas all my life, it has got to me. I love listening to : the Eagles,Kiss, Queen, Aerosmith,Joan Jett, The Clash, Pearl Jam, Nirvana,Nickelback,Hoobastank,Puddle of Mudd, Green Day, Staind, Weezer, Beatles, Elvis....

Movies:

I love all types of movies with the exception of some horror or graphically violent ones because I am a bit of a wuss but I do like thrillers. I like old movies too. I am a big Audrey Hepburn fan so I love Breakfast at Tiffany's, Sabrina, and especially Roman Holiday.Some of my favorite movies are: Crash, Breaking Away, Empire Records, Dazed and Confused, The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates,A Walk to Remember, Sweet Home Alabama .....The Outsiders.

Television:

Smallville, Veronica Mars, How I met your mother,Grey's Anatomy, Gilmore Girls...old favorites are Friends and Seinfield. I also like some reality shows like Big Brother and America's Next Top Model(Can this be called reality? LOL. I still like it!)

Books:

I love to read, period. My taste in books covers a large range from the ....sunday comics, to the latest bestseller. I have always had an appreciation for classic literature. It appeals to the book worm in me. My favorite classic book is Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice". My more conntemporary favorite would have to be Wally Lamb's "She's come undone".

Heroes:

God. My family and friends. That person I saw being kind not because they had to but because they wanted to... out of the goodness of their hearts....Everyday heroes.
