I refrain from picking anyone who is dead. What good would it do me to meet a corpse? I'd like to meet even more creative and fun, open hearted and open minded people. Peaceful sentient beings from another dimension, planet, galaxy, universe. Any king who would like me to take the piss out of him in good humor and not cut my head off, George Carlin, Jon Stewart, Steven Colbert, Goldie Hawn, Woopie Goldberg, Phil Lesh, Bob Weir, Bill Krutzner, Mickey Hart, Ian Anderson and the Jethro Tull crew, Jon Anderson and the Yes incarnations, Linus Torvalds, Bill and Melinda Gates, Alanis Morrisette, Warren Buffet, Larry Ellison, Steven Hawking, Carmen Electra, Oprah Winfrey, Geraldo Riviera, Steve Jobs, Brian Greene, The members of OPEC and the Chairmen of the big auto manufacturers, The Secretary of the Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, U.S. President George W. Bush, the dudes from Green Day, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Alman Brothers, The surviving members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Willie Nelson, Eminem, Peter Jackson, Quentin Terrantino, Pink, Elle, Prince, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, ...

Movies I am not in and enjoyed: Charlie Chaplin flicks, abbott & costello films, Danny Kaye's best works, cartoon and computer generated animations, comedy, none of that sappy romantic comedy shlock (ok maybe 'When Harry Met Sally'), The Right Stuff, Ghandi, Empire of the Sun.Movies I am in and enjoyed: Ghostbusters, various televised Metropolitan Opera & NYC Opera performances (La Boheme, Hansel & Gretel, Carmen, MacBeth, ...)
I prefer to be on it than watching it. Fortunately, I don't have a TV since years, and yet I still end up being seen on TV (about my work usually), which makes living a private life ... well ... quite strange and fun at the same time.
The Norse Eddas, Calvin & Hobbes, String Theory by Greene, Bloom County, The Art of War by Sun-Tzu, FoxTrot, JRR Tolkein's works, ElfQuest, Arthur C. Clarke's 2001 & 2010, David Eddings Belgariad and Sparhawk series, the list goes on and on and on ...
