Sir Clay Mercredi aka... Dirt.

Morality is the herd-instinct in the individual.

About Me

Just some dude with a keyboard and a camera. Some folks like me and think I'm hot and ironically cool at the same time. I like to keep this profile small for my friends, but anyone and everyone is welcome to add and keep tabs on my photographic works on myspace at:

"To accomplish great things, we must dream as well as act." - Anatole France."To consider what other people might say is hardly a good reason to take action or to defer it." - Gregory Maguire

My Interests

Experiencing new things ranks near the top of my interests. That includes music, going to new places, and of course, fucking.

I'd like to meet:

New friends and networking contacts I suppose. Don't bother adding me if you're not going to talk to me or read my blog.www.clearasdirt.com

Music:

Let me put it this way.... I dig music, especially the live kind.
Go here to see some of my live music photos: Clay's MySpace photography page

Movies:

hmmm... I'm a movie buff, but I'm going to keep this short and simple as opposed to the long ass list I had before. Basically I like intelligent movies that make me laugh and I like to watch stuff blow up and I like when bad stuff happens for a reason. Fight Club, Matrix, Hero, Stigmata... Shit like that.

Books:

Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West
Son of Witch
Da Vinci Code
Brave New World
Memnoch the Devil
Angels and Demons

Heroes:

My grandfather.
My mother.
My little bro.
Cousin 'Lique.

A letter to Freq

Dear Freq107, Since the dawn of my radio listening days I've enjoyed new sounds, old sounds, strange sounds... yes, all kinds of sounds. Including sounds of crap, ie: REM. Now I've been listening to F...

Down with SOAD

That's it. I'm convinced System of a Down is merely a comedy act poking fun at the heavy metal musical genre and no one has properly informed me. The problem here is that they failed to inform anyone,...

Tipi for my bunghole

I've been looking for a topic to cover for a while that strikes my literal fancy and steers me away from silly surveys and wishy washy bloggings of my dear sweet girlfriend that's better than you... A...

Happiness is a Zamboni

So does anyone know how good it feels to really miss someone after only 24 hours apart? Well I'm at 36 hours and I'm becoming rather antsy, not to mention cursing at the fact I work stupid shifts that...

Like Sands Threw the Hour Glass...

It almost seems scripted sometimes. My Life I mean. A skilled shrink could probably score high marks on educated guesses on my life's major episodes based on short meeting with me...

Got Gwar?

I was unsure of SOTU's choice in the Convention Center as a viable metal venue, but after checking out the lay out and age group, there could really be no other place to handle it. Going up the back w...

A Slayer experience sheds some light on the future

Slayer.....   The roar of the crowd, the flickering lights in the rafters, and the iconic figures on stage fueling the fire with their ear piercing shredding. What could be more perfect? What cou...
