About Me

I surround myself with positivity and try to radiate as much as I can through all of the negativity in this world. I'm not ignorant to what goes on but I don't believe in complaining my life away about issues that I have no control over. I don't believe in complaining just for the sake of voicing my opionion and if you do hear me speak passionately on an issue, I hope my actions speak louder than my words. Although there are very few issues that I'm extremely for or against, I do try to understand and make sense of both sides of the story on any issue. The world isn't just black or white anymore. Gray areas exist everywhere.
The world is far from perfect; so are you and so am I. So I've decided to become a life long learner and to better myself everyday and instead of complaining my life away about what I don't like. It's all a matter of choice; if you're not living.... what are you doing? I choose to live.
Slip away from reality occasionally and let yourself truly enjoy the moment. It is then when you push all things aside and realize how beautiful life can be.
I adore life.

Now back to interests. The general ones. See below. Then add on gelati, cars, Slurpees, beaches, hiking, camping, rollerblading, aimlessly walking around random places, tea, friends, hot tubbing, staying up to see the sunrise, star watching, The Simpsons, taking pictures of stupid things, broccoli and cheese soup, Bellini's from Moxies, soda crackers, brushing my teeth in the shower, singing in my car, highway driving, bonfires, massages, dancing around like an idiot, being me, having fun, watching UFC, giving hugs, drunken cheek kisses, ass grabs, piggy backs, Bingo scratch and win tickets, going to the cabin, sitting on docks late at night/early in the morning, watching ducks, making snowmen, scraping ice/frost off car windows, summer in general, walking around in towels/underwear, living in a bikini, lemons, lemonade, men who smell good, joking around...oh, and this....

I'd like to meet:

Those who are comfortable in their own skin, who show strength inside and out and who try to make the best of the time they have. Bring me positivity, teach me something, and stand firm on what you believe.I'm up for it.

Music:

My music is severely influenced by my mood and no....I'm not moody. Some days are more mellow than others, and some days I just want to rock out hard. As always, there are days when silence is key and instrumentals serve well for background sounds. However, to suit my musical desires, the following bands/artists suffice: Led Zeppelin, Incubus, Ben Folds, Dreadnaut, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Social Distortion, LynchpinJack Johnson, Foo Fighters, HCE, Appleseed Cast, Dave Matthews, Do Make Say Think, Eagles of Death Metal, Edguy, Elastica, Emery, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, In Flames, JP Hoe, Killswitch Engage, Labyrinth, Nirvana, Novillero, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, Poison the Well, Queens of the Stone Age, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Raised Fist, Saosin, The Beatles, Weakerthans, Boy Sets Fire, Sonata Artica, Jaw, Constantines and bla bla bla. I go through spurts of musical curiosity where I crave an unlimited amount of music that I'm not so familiar with. So educate me and recommend some amazing music....

Movies:

Office Space is probably the most viewed movie I own. Dazed and Confused. Poolhall Junkies. Boondock Saints. The Princess Bride. Super Troopers. Anchorman. Sleepaway Camps I, II, and III.... because they're funny. I really enjoy Horror/Slasher/B/Lame movies. Edward Scissorhands too. There's a bunch more I like.... I just can't remember them.

Television:

I download a lot more shows than I actually watch on TV, which really isn't much better. However, when I do turn on the TV I'll try and find shows like: The Simpsons, Ultimate Fighter/UFC. That's about it.

Books:

Currently reading: I frequently read up on things from this Medical Encyclopedia. I need to satisfy my curiosity. Book recommendations welcome.

Heroes:

My parents.
