I am here for Friends

About Me

I grew up in Atlanta, went to school in North Carolina, and spent many summers in Charleston SC. Now im living in Mauritania, which is in West Africa. I'm working for the Peace Corps teaching English and trying to make myself busy with a few other side projects. At this time next year ill be done and free again. Thats sort of liberating and scary at the same time. Ill be 26 with no job, no home, no car....etc. I have a master plan for what I want to do eventually but I don't think that can happen anytime in the near future. So, as of right now im thinking about doing some traveling in Africa when I finish. I think my sister is coming to visit then we will make our way overland into Morocco. Hopefully spend a few days in the bigger cities then spend the rest of the time up north in the Riff Mountains. I then hope to head overland into Spain and WWOOF on a farm for several weeks then go to Munich with some friends for Oktoberfest. So as of now my plan is to be back in the states in the beginning of October.
