Crime and Punishment. Best ever. But anything that disects human nature. Catcher In the Rye, A Seperate Peace, All Quiet On the Western Front, 1984, Fahrenheit 451 are all amazing. And I love anything written by Ellis and Palahniuk.
I know its just a fictional literary character but I have to go with Don Quixote. No matter what happened nothing got him down. The world couldnt crush his spirit. Of course he was crazy... but come on, who isn't?
