H.E.A.T. Music Group (HMG) was form by three fascinating young men in the early 90’s. (Black Tha Young God, T- Hennessy, and J.C.) It all came together when J. C. and T-Hennessy attended a local high school talent show in Bessemer, Al where Black was performing. Needless to say Black won the talent show hands down and revealed his lyrical talent to J.C. and T-Hennessy. The three of them made the decision to mess their lyrical skills together and form the group know today as H.E.A.T. Music Group (HMG). While perfecting there craft in J.C.’s mother hair salon and performing at talent shows all over the south, tragedy struck with the passing of Jermon Croom in a car accident shortly after his birthday. H.E.A.T. Music Group(HMG) suffered a great loss and went through a mourning period for several months. Shortly after the mourning period Black and T-Hennessy promised that they would continue on with their dream of becoming one on the elite groups of all time. In the spring of 2004 Black and T-Hennessy join forces with long time childhood friend (Fresh) who knew he had skills but never took the art serious. After a numerous attempts to get Fresh in the studio, he finally agreed. That day magic was witness by everyone in the studio. It was like the sprit of J.C. had visited each one of them and since that day they have not look back. This is why HMG soars pass unsigned artist worldwide. The deep southern roots marinate three different rap styles into one that set trends worldwide. So one might ask why should I sign or even listen to HMG? You have three different styles, three different personalities and three different stories that are compiled together to make beautiful, timeless music.
