Hard hitting, real life, a lyrical spit fire with a touch of gangsta are just a few of the many words to describe L'Shun. Hailing from the Westside of Birmingham, Alabama, this lyrical genius stands out from the rest of the typical female rappers. L'Shun offers the rap scene a fresh new presence. Entertainment has been a very big part of her life. Growing up, she participated in her church and school choir as well as multiple talent shows. She has been writing since the age of 11 and is now ready to make her way into today's rap scene.
L'Shun was influenced by many rappers like N.W.A, Eight Ball
& MJG, Lauryn Hill, Tupac, Nas, and Jay-Z, just to name a few. With the influences of other rappers mixed with her own persoanl style, L'Shun developed her own lyrical style during the latter part of her teenage years. Growing up without her father around and dealing with real life struggles gave L'Shun countless situations that inspired many of her songs today.
L'Shun is currently working on her first album titled
"Art Imitates Life" which is a perfect title to describe her music.
"Art Imitates Life" is full of music people can feel and relate to and at the same time fun and fresh.
L'Shun's mother and best friend/manager Sarah have been her greatest motivators. They have encouraged, inspired, and always had faith in her talent. She also gets a lot of support from her closest friends. Music resides in L'Shuns's soul and is her life.
With her unique lyrical style, which is a mix of dirty south and east coast with class and a touch of gangsta, mixed with her strong determination to succeed in the music industry, L'Shun is sure to make an explosive impact in the rap game. She's pretty, petite, and classy...but don't let the pretty face fool you..
