LIGHTNING DAZE-NEW SONGS!!!

About Me

Lightning Daze is a DIY project that has grown up from 2001, when 4 guys decided to unite their passion for the punk rock music.
They've started to play melodic punk rock/hc influenced by Green Day, Ramones, Millencolin,...
The first studio work, titled "Ballyhoo!" has come out in 2003 as a D.I.Y. production: inspite the low budget, the EP (7 songs) has been sold out! The live promotion of the record has been powerfull, and Lightning Daze has played a lot, winning a contest as "the best live performance". In this period they played with great bands of the italian scene like Vanilla Sky (the show has been recorded in the first live-cd of the band, "Live @ Rolling Stone"). The live experience gave a sort of input to the band, to evolve its sound and to find something of brand new. This can be found in the second EP of the band, "My miss in' rock" (2005, D.I.Y.): 3 songs that mixed up the power of punk-rock, with the emotion of indie and pop. In this period the band had got a lot of shows, supporting great bands like Vanilla Sky, Sun Eats Hours, Red Car Burns, Dufresne, A Traitor like Judas, L'invasione degli Omini verdi, Pig-tails, Cattive Abitudini, Succo Marcio...
The live experience in those 4 years gave to Lightning Daze the input to find their own sound and style.
Something of brand new could be found in "Thank you miss kissgoodnight": the song of the "NoReason Compilation" has permitted to the band to receive good responses from several guys/webzines/mags and radios from the whole world.
The whole 2006 and part of 2007 has been spent by the band to write new material that has been recorded the last summer at SOUND STUDIO in Lodi - Italy with Stefano "Timba" Silva.
