Jesus and the Headliners

Jesus and the Headliners strive to be known as the most modest band in the universe. Their blend of conscious lyrics, intricate melodies and sing-along choruses are sure to please the universal masses, all while making them smarter......or maybe stupideder, we..ll have to wait to find out.When their drummer left for law school in Toronto, with a promise to defend them on all future charges of inciting a riot, Ron and Chevy were left holding the bag. After starting their Latino hip hop group Gatos Locos, they decided it was time to get back to work. Their relationship with their brother band Road Bones became even more incestuous when their drummer Collin filled in for them when Jesus and the Headliners opened up for punk legends the Dead Kennedys. The Dead Kennedys said that Jesus and The Headliners were great and that it was the worst band name ever. But let..s face it Kiss is a pretty crappy name too, and they did alright. Collin kind of stuck and a temporary arrangement turned into the band realizing they could never hope to do any better and begged for him to stay, even offering him a 1994 Lada Cossak as payment. He turned that down but agreed to play with them.As we look to the future, we can see Jesus and the Headliners continuing to play exciting shows with Montreal..s and the rest of the world..s best bands. They shared the stage with Priestess, the Sainte Catherines, Bionic, Les Breastfeeders, Malajube and will continue to rock out in hopes of one day becoming the most modest band in the universe....... or at least hope to host a therapeutic dinner show call ..Jesus and the Headliners heal diners...
