what's the harm in ruins that remind us of who we were in the darker times?

About Me

I love those experiences that just cause a total paradigm shift. Meeting a homeless person... giving him 25 cents knowing that I'm contributing to his alcoholism... eating bagles that were sneakily rummaged out of a dumpster on a stage at a venue... I love those moments where I think of something so profound, but as soon as it comes to me, it is gone. I love the moments where I feel so comfortable; as if I will never feel fear or lonliness again. I love the midnight walks on the beach, fighting the blistering wind for my paper and for the words I am supposed to write. I love quiet dinners filled with stories of far away lands... and things far too close to home. I love cheerful rides through graveyards and the memories that they make. And I really love my amazing friends. And... I really love that 8 headed Octopus Mailbox on Decker...I love travelling the country with my best friends. I love crazy nights spent hiding from imaginary criminals. I love the experiences that draw people closer together - triumph, loss, power outages... and tour vans.
