HISTORY:
Dessipura (pronounced:- dis-pew-rah) is a collection of four obscure musicians playing honest pub music. With the original line-up including a once dreadlocked Jono Carrol, a broken handed Tristain Piper, a random hippy looking Brady Jones and former members Peter Cho and Tim Smock. They got their break playing a 40th Birthday Party, and then entering a open mic night. Two magical things happened at that open mic night, the D got their first pub gig at the Western Hotel, but more importantly they met the unbelieveable Tom Richardson.
As former guitarist Tim Smock ventured overseas, Tom Richardson was more then happy to fill his vacant slot (HAHAHA). After several gigs it became clear that much like Highlander... there would be only one guitarist and Peter Cho and the D parted ways.
With a changing list of songs to be played they're bound to play something that will have you raising your pot glass in appreciation or shaking your arse front of stage, and if not... just tell us what tugs your fancy and tickles your boat...
