About Me

BOOKS BEYOND BORDERS is dedicated to improving educational opportunities in developing countries throughout the world. 100% of the proceeds from book sales go to Project Schoolhouse, which in turn funds school building projects and other education initiatives.PROJECT SCHOOLHOUSE is raising money to build schools in three rural communities near Rio Blanco, Nicaragua. These communities have agreed to provide all the labor needed to construct the schools and Project Schoolhouse will provide all building materials and skilled construction supervision. Efforts are also underway to collect educational materials such as pens, pencils, rulers, chalk, markers, crayons, and backpacks. Donated funds will be used to purchase notebooks and other paper materials in Nicaragua. By facilitating the construction of adequate schools and providing educational materials to communities in need, Project Schoolhouse and Books Beyond Borders are working to increase the opportunities available to children in recipient communities.

Within the past several months we've hosted a music and fun-filled evening at Ten Thousand Villages, and organized a ping-pong tournament at our warehouse.
