I am here for Friends

About Me

Oh, uhm... Married, with one on the way (he's here). Three dogs. ...and I'm a dork.

My Interests

Lately ... home repair. I used to do alot of stuff, though - I miss racquetball.

I'd like to meet:

On here? I'd like to keep close to current freinds and re-connect with people I've known but lost touch with.In general? I'd like to meet someone with a bajillion dollars they just want to give away.

Music:

I listen to most stuff, even a little country, now. I prefer rock, and down-tempo.

Movies:

Yes please. Usual Suspects, 5th Element, 6th Sense, Se7en, etc.

Television:

Right now... House and Gray's Anatomy. Overhaulin', MythBusters, and Good Eats are also favorites.

Books:

I like Sci-Fi and/or Fantasy, but I prefer the authors that actually maintain some depth and character in their works. Honestly, I read all sorts of stuff ... except history and auto-biographies. Potter was a good set.

Heroes:

Tesla (the guy, not the band), Einstein, Christ, mom and dad, batman. Heck, too many people who've had positive effects out there.

My Blog

Patriotic Spoken Word

A friend forwarded this to me this morning. Guy's got real talent: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBflQLa75C8...

The Penis Mightier

So, we found out yesterday - let's just say that an ultrasound is not about modesty for a baby. Anyway - we've got a boy, and with my odd sense of humor, I just texted several of my old buddies from c...

Our maturing generation....

So... it occurred to me today that our generation differs from so many of those that came before us in that we're kids at heart. It's not that we're not mature, that we can't hold intelligent conversa...

If you love God....

This one's a rant - not really positive, but I do want to say that it's not directed at anyone in particular. I'm tired of the emails (and such) that basically read "why don't you shove your religion ...
