"The Plum of the Month Club is the brainchild of Rachel and Amy. Rachel thought up the club in January, and then sat on the idea for months and months. It was Amy, the responsible one, who finally made it come to fruition (pardon the pun.)
Each month, a different delightful surprise will be waiting for you in your mailbox. Rachel and Amy comb the globe, looking for the very best in handmade DIY goodness to include in their club. Future plums may include:
keychains, stamps, charms, bracelets, stickers, buttons, earrings, beads, cards, paper, patterns, finger puppets, magnets, hair accessories, dolls, soap, patches, hair clips, bookmarks, voodoo dolls, zines, temporary tattoos, art, prints, paper dolls, sculptures, candles, necklaces, and any other odds and ends they can get their hands on.
All objects will be 100% handmade, plucked from the brains of the best indie designers and crafters around. This is a unique way to celebrate and support the DIY culture, because you are helping these indie businesses to thrive. How? Plum of the Month buys its plums from talented indie businesses. So that's money in their pockets right there! But on top of that, Plum of the Month features that business for the entire month, with an interview on the website and links to their products. Free advertising and website traffic! Horray!
No objects will ever be offered twice, and some will be Plum of the Month exclusives, not available anywhere else. Some items will be seasonal, and all will be female-oriented, so it's really a suitable gift for any girl in your life, from 8 to 80, all year long."
