About Me

My husband Sean and I have been happily married for 7 years(!). Our son Jackson will be one in a few weeks. I have a Master's degree in Elementary Education and have taught for 3 years, but I have recently decided to stay home with Jackson, at least for a little while. I realize how precious and short life is, and to quote Aerosmith, I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing.

My Interests

Playing with Jackson, reading about celebrity gossip, going to the movies (yeah right), traveling, reading grown-up books when I get a chance

I'd like to meet:

It would be nice to meet anyone famous. The closest I ever got was when Derek Plante (who used to play for the Buffalo Sabres) came into the store I worked at when I was 18.

Music:

Anything but country and rap; mostly "old school" pop and rock

Movies:

The Wizard of Oz, The Wedding Singer, Forrest Gump, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and Ben Stiller and/or Will Ferrell movies

Television:

Lost is my favorite, and I also love American Idol and Survivor.

Books:

Harry Potter and other children's books....condition of my profession and mommyhood. Gotta love Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? When I'm not teaching I prefer Dean Koontz.

Heroes:

Anybody with more than 1 kid!
